Release of scvi-tools version 1.2

Hi,

I came across the MrVI paper and found it looks a very promising method. I want to test it but its github version is currently deprecated while the latest version of scvi-tools (v1.2) which contains MrVI is not released yet. I am wondering when the scvi-tools v1.2 will be released. If v1.2 is not going to be released in any time soon, do you recommend installing it from the MrVI GitHub?

Hi, I would recommend against installing from the MrVI repo. I would recommend either installing from the main branch on GitHub or the 1.2.X branch. We will add minor changes and will release 1.2.0 latter this month.
